This Privacy Policy explains what information the Yuki Discord application ("Yuki", "we", "the Service") collects, why it is collected, how long it is kept, and how you can have it removed. Yuki is designed to store the minimum amount of data required for its features to work.
1. Data We Collect
Yuki stores only non-sensitive Discord identifiers and gameplay state, all of which are supplied by Discord when you use a command:
- Discord User IDs — to associate economy balance, level/XP, inventory and pets with the correct account.
- Guild (server) IDs — to keep per-server configuration, prefixes, shops and leaderboards separate.
- Channel IDs — to remember where features are enabled or disabled, and where log or level-up messages should be sent.
- Role IDs — to operate reaction roles, level rewards and moderator-permission checks.
- Economy and pet progress metrics — coin balances, XP and level, inventory items, pet species/stage/stats, daily streak counters and command cooldown timestamps.
- Moderation records — when a moderator issues an action, we store the action type, target user ID, moderator ID, reason text supplied by the moderator, and a timestamp.
2. What We Never Collect
Yuki explicitly does not read, store, log or transmit:
- Message content of any kind. Yuki operates through slash commands and does not retain the text of your messages.
- Private direct messages between users.
- IP addresses, device identifiers, geolocation or browser fingerprints.
- Payment or financial information. Yuki is free and processes no payments.
- Passwords or Discord authentication tokens. This website is fully static and contains no login, OAuth flow or user dashboard.
- Voice or media content, attachments, or message history archives.
Auto-moderation filters evaluate a message in memory at the moment it is sent, only in guilds where an administrator has enabled the feature. The message text is discarded immediately after the check and is never written to storage. If a filter triggers, only the moderation record described in section 1 is saved.
3. Why We Process This Data
The sole purpose is to maintain persistent state so features behave as expected between sessions:
- remembering per-guild settings, enabled modules and log destinations;
- tracking levels, XP and leaderboard standings;
- storing economy balances, inventories and shop purchases;
- keeping pet ownership, growth stage and stats;
- enforcing cooldowns and anti-abuse limits;
- providing moderators with an audit trail of actions taken in their guild.
We do not use your data for profiling, advertising, behavioral analysis or automated decision-making beyond the gameplay logic described above.
4. Data Sharing
Your data is never sold, leased, rented, traded or shared with third parties, advertising networks, data brokers or analytics vendors. Access is limited to the core development team, strictly for maintenance, abuse investigation and support.
Data is stored on infrastructure operated by our hosting provider under a data-processing arrangement, and is transmitted only to Discord's official API in order to respond to your commands. We may disclose data if legally compelled by a valid legal request.
5. Data Retention
- Guild configuration is deleted automatically within 30 days of Yuki being removed from that guild.
- User economy and pet data is retained while the account remains active, and is purged after 12 months of no interaction with the bot.
- Moderation records are kept for up to 12 months so moderators can review guild history, then deleted.
- Backups roll over continuously and are fully overwritten within 30 days.
6. Your Rights & How to Delete Your Data
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your stored data at any time. Choose whichever route applies to you:
- Self-service (fastest). Run
/resetin any server where Yuki is present. Confirm the prompt and every record tied to your Discord User ID — balance, inventory, pets, XP and streaks — is erased immediately and irreversibly. - Server owners. Run
/reset guildto wipe all configuration and leaderboard data for that guild, or simply remove Yuki and the data expires automatically per section 5. - Support ticket. Open a ticket in the support server or email [email protected] with your Discord User ID. Manual requests are completed within 30 days, and we will confirm once the deletion is done.
Deletion is permanent. Erased progress and virtual items cannot be restored, and virtual items carry no monetary value in any case.
7. Children's Privacy
Yuki is not directed at children under the minimum age required to use Discord in their country. We do not knowingly retain data belonging to such users; if we are made aware of it, the data is deleted promptly.
8. Security
Data is stored on access-controlled infrastructure, encrypted in transit, and limited to authorized maintainers. No system is perfectly secure, but because we store no message content, credentials, IP addresses or payment data, the impact of any incident is inherently limited.
9. Changes to This Policy
Updates will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and announced in the support server when material. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
